Where the photographs on this site come from, who owns them, and how to ask about using one.
Unless stated otherwise, the photographs on this site are © Townshend Performance and were taken by Kat and Brennan Townshend, or shared with us by the athletes we coach, on training runs, recces and race days.
Where an image was taken by a professional or event photographer, we credit them alongside the image and in the page’s image metadata. The copyright in those photographs stays with the photographer.
Not without permission. The images on this site are not licensed for reuse, redistribution, editing or commercial use, and none of them are in the public domain or released under a Creative Commons licence. Linking to a page on this site is always fine.
For a photograph credited to a named photographer, please contact that photographer directly — the licensing rights are theirs, not ours. If you’re not sure how to reach them, email us and we’ll put you in touch.
